Helping community groups and non-profits reach their goal
The "Do Good" program is the brain child of Ammar Mufleh, the owner of the Clazel Theatre. Its creation is very much a reflection of how he lives his life. As an avid supporter of the Bowling Green community and philanthropic donor, he feels it is his duty to give back to the community whenever possible, and would like to help others who wish to do the same.
What is "Do Good"
The basic driving principal behind "Do Good" is to recognize and support groups who do good works in our community. Too often, non-profit groups find themselves stuggling to raise funds, expending effort and time that takes away from their mission. It is our goalto provide resources to these groups that make life better for the less fortunate or who's efforts strive to better the community as a whole.
"Do Good" Opportunities
As part of our greater "Do Good" program, we are proud to offer "Do Good Thursday". "Do Good Thursday" opens the doors of the Clazel Thursdays from 5-9PM for non-profit and community groups to utilize The Clazel as a resource for social events and fund raisers. The Do Good Thursday's program requires no out-of-pocket expense for the group hosting the event. We hope that this first step will take root and be a valuable resource for all the groups in our region. Looking ahead, Do Good has lofty goals which include an annual Do Good Festival that will include music, food and of course a platform for non-profits and community groups in the greater NorthWest Ohio region to be seen, heard and recognized.
